The BBC was named the biggest offender, with 39% saying the pubcaster “hasn’t been helpful”, followed by Channel 4 (34%) and Paramount-owned Channel 5 (27%). Netflix was down 20 percent.
In the networks’ defense, 35% said the opposite, that they were “understanding and trying to help with costs,” while the rest of the respondents were in between.

The rising cost of securing on- and off-screen talent has been cited by many as a major factor, along with the rising cost of labor, materials and services.
About 40% of respondents said spending on on-screen talent had increased by 10% over the past year, according to figures from Behind the Camera.
