Tiffany Haddish was scheduled to share the Price Is Right Stage with Drew Carey to help contestants win prizes during The Price Is Right Night in 2021. As contestant Cynthia got ready to play the game, Haddish mentioned that it wasn’t her first time at the studio. However, her goal to enter the stage did not come true the first time. “I was outside, queuing for hours, came with my girls and wanted to be where you are. But I wasn’t chosen.” The clip then shows footage of Haddish in an audience many years ago (via Entertainment Weekly). Haddish said she was still happy to finally be on stage and then helped Cynthia play the Gas Money game.
When she got to The Price Is Right in 2021, Haddish raised money for She’s ready to fund. The foundation was created by Haddish to support children in foster care. Haddish, who herself grew up in a foster family (via Diversity), states that the organization’s mission is to ensure that “every child separated from their parents deserves to have a suitcase, a safe place to lay their head, and a platform to follow their dreams” (via She’s ready to fund).
