Dogs Trust Ireland made dogs believe in the magic of Christmas once again this year (click here to see the 2019 version of the post). Together with their supporters, the Irish animal charity surprised their furry friends with a room full of toys. But that’s not all! Even the dogs were allowed to choose their own gifts! And his reaction to this was too pure to put into words.
On its Facebook page, the charity shared some more details about the video and the children in it.
“The best day of the year is here! Santa Paz has visited our rehoming center and all the dogs got to pick out their toy for Christmas!” he wrote.
With that being said, if you want to support the dogs and help them find their forever homes, or just help them with their day-to-day needs, feel free to click and donate . Here.

The caption below the video continues, “It was too much fun to fit it all into one video, but we hope you enjoy watching some of our residents celebrate #SantaPawsDay!
A big thank you to all our supporters who helped Santa Paws by sending a toy. A very Merry Christmas from all the humans and dogs at Dogs Trust Ireland!
They collect donations from people and then come to “Santa Paws” to distribute gifts for the dogs. The best part is that dogs get to choose their own gift.

That being said, let’s meet the dog! The first to go and take his gift was Archie.

All dogs and puppies at our rehoming center are neutered (or adopted if If not already neutered at the time, they will go home with a €90 voucher towards the cost of neutering at a local veterinary practice), microchipped, fully vaccinated and temperamental before going to their forever home. Dogs Trust also offers lifelong training and behavioral support for all dogs and puppies rehomed from our centre. Dogs Trust receives no government funding for our lifesaving work, so none of this would be possible without the continued commitment and generosity of our donors and supporters. We could not continue our efforts without them.
