The Spot Will Threaten the Spider-Man Multiverse in Both Upcoming Spider-Man Movies

During a recent interview with Total Movie GamesRadar, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-director Kemp Powers has revealed some key details about the upcoming film and its Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel. However, perhaps one of the most important pieces of vital information has to do with the supervillain Blur and how he will be a key figure in both films, as well as fans’ confidence that he will be a force to be reckoned with for Morales. and his team of multiverse spider friends.

“Spot is an interesting villain because he seems like a joke, but if you really look at his abilities, you see incredible potential,” Powers said. “His ability to open dimensional portals is perfect for Spider-Verse. He’s the villain in the next two films… and let’s just say that Spot and Miles bond in an amazing way.”

The Spot often serves as a villain for various Spider-Men in the comics, although he has apparently never been as popular as other characters such as the Green Goblin or Mysterio. However, it makes sense to bring the Blur in here, given his comical ability to create and use dimensional portals at will. Obviously, this will go well with the concept of the multiverse and the damage it can cause. However, it’s hard not to wonder exactly how he and Morales will bond and how it will affect both films.
