Dominic Moles Night of the 12thwhich had its world premiere in Cannes in May, leads the nominations for the 28th edition of France’s Lumière Awards.

The awards are voted on by members of the International Press Corporation from 36 countries based in France.

Night of the 12th Nominated in six categories including Best Film, Director and Screenplay. The film debuted in the non-competitive Cannes Premiere section of the Cannes Film Festival.

Investigative drama is Moll’s seventh feature. It stars Bastian Boylan as a police detective who becomes obsessed with a complicated female m*rder case, with support from Boley Laners.

Diop, whose play St. Omer It is also nominated in the Documentary category submitted by France for the Best International Film category of the Oscars this year. Wewhich won the competition in Berlin in 2021.

Administered by the Lumières Academy, the awards span 13 categories including Best Film, Director, Screenplay, Actress, Actor, Female Revelation, Male Revelation, Debut Film, Animation, Documentary, International Co-Production, Cinematography and Music.
