The Little Details You Missed in The Mandalorian Season 3 Official Trailer

A place we’re very familiar with during the first season of The Mandalorian is Nevarro. A new planet in the Star Wars galaxy, it serves as a safe haven for bounty hunters, thieves and common villains, and it shows. The city is replete with dilapidated buildings and takes on a generally gloomy appearance. Things pick up a bit in Season 2, thanks in large part to Magistrate Greef Karge (Carl Weathers), who only seems to have kept that trend going into Season 3. Very similar to his clotheshe exudes wealth and prosperity, but this does not mean that he has forgotten where he came from.

Before Nevarro became a sprawling metropolis, the remnants of the Galactic Empire destroyed it, chasing Din Djarin and Grog. They and their allies did a great job driving them out of the city, and one of them made the ultimate sacrifice. In order to save our heroes in “Chapter 8: Redemption”, an IG unit identified as IG-11 (Taika Waititi) used its self-destruct ability to wipe out many imperial troops, sending the survivors to gather. To honor the memory of the assassin droid, we see in the latest Season 3 trailer that Karga erected a statue of IG-11 in the square with his foot planted firmly on the stormtrooper’s helmet.
