Dick Van Dyke is a true icon.
Born on December 13, 1925, his career has spanned more than seven decades.
He rose to fame on Broadway.

But finally got his own CBS show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, which lasted from 1961 to 1966.

Van Dyck was the star of such classics. Mary Poppins And Chatty Chatty Bang Bang.

Since his early films, Van Dyke has had an impressive career.

More recently, he has played roles. Night at the Museum In 2006, and The Return of Mary Poppins In 2018.
And despite his advanced age, Van Dyk seems to have no intention of slowing down.

He also has an intense fitness regimen.

Which he proudly displayed on the show.
He began by demonstrating his dharana prowess.

“”I’m 95 years old, and a lot of my friends won’t do that,” he said during the interview.
“So all you old people, listen to me, I’m telling you: you can go on.”

Van Dyck claims he was “given three versions and I took the hardest one. I had to prove I could do it.”
She also opened up about her hopes for the future.

“I’m looking forward to 100,” he says.
“George Burns did it, and so am I!”

However, in retrospect, Van Dyck had a less positive attitude towards aging.
In 2015, during a NPR interviewthe star opened up about “giving up the things you enjoy doing.”

“I can’t handle the tennis court anymore. I can still run and dance and sing.”
He also offered some more philosophical views.

“You know, I’ve gotten into the habit of asking other people in their old age: Of all the things you enjoyed doing when you were younger that you can’t do anymore, what do you remember? “
“Some people mention golf or tennis. One woman said, ‘I miss having lunch with the girls.’

“But people who said I wish I had made better business decisions, I think they’re missing the point.”
“You have to choose what you like to do, what fulfills you, what interests you.”

“And I realize that this is not possible for many people. As Thoreau said, many people live a life of silent despair.
He continued.

“But almost anyone can find a hobby or hobby that they love to do.”
Now though, there is some sad news for the star’s fans.

And our hearts are broken.
Although Van Dyke claims to be in good health, he took to Twitter to discuss the health issue.

“Every time I lie down, my head beats,” she said wrote.
“Every test I’ve had has come back perfectly healthy. Anyone have any ideas?”

“Strange heartbeat sound” Allegedly Bewildered medical professionals, who subjected the star to tests, could not find the source of the problem.
