Even though she is only 6 years old, Princess Charlotte is already so big, We didn’t end up seeing her blonde hair in this 2021 Christmas photo, but it’s definitely her facial features that are drawing comparisons to Queen Elizabeth II among royal fans. As soon as Cambridge shared the snapshot below on Twitter, fans were flooded with comments saying: Charlotte was practically a lookalike of the emperor, “What a beautiful family” a fan wrote, adding, “You can actually see Queen Elizabeth in Princess Charlotte.”

Another fan completely agreed, telling a previous commenter, “I thought the same way… a little Queen Elizabeth with straight hair!” One fan compared Charlotte to a “mini” version of the British monarch. ,Charlotte is such a lovely princess, she is a [SIC] the younger version of the queen,” he tweeted, Then, there was a fan who quipped, “Is it just me or does Charlotte look exactly like the Queen and there’s a lot of Philip in little Louis (eyes/stares)?”

Apparently, a lot of royal fans raved about Charlotte looking like Queen Elizabeth. The comparison got us curious, so we tracked down the above photo of Queen Elizabeth — then a princess — when she was about 11 years old. Despite being just a few years older than Charlotte in this photo today, practically everything from her nose and eyes to her facial expressions really sheds light on how Charlotte got her face from her great-grandmother. Some of the most distinctive features were inherited. Now that we have that resemblance in mind, we’re so excited to see Princess Charlotte grow up!
