The first three episodes of the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle documentary series from Netflix. Harry and Megan The premiere took place just a few days ago, and the show is already being talked about. The first episode featured intimate clips and photos of the couple’s life together, as well as interviews on their experiences in royal life. The second half of the series is due out in less than a week, and there’s already a lot of speculation about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s own feelings about the series. But the new report seems to suggest that the Prince and Princess of Wales’ attention is elsewhere.
According to royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, Prince William and Princess Kate are just minding their own business while the world hears Harry and Meghan’s version of the story. “There’s been a lot of hype but there won’t be comment at every turn,” a royal source shared with Nicholl via Vanity Fair. “Everything as usual, keep calm and carry on.”
We’ve heard the “keep calm and carry on” mantra so many times in connection with the royal family that it feels like they’re completely intertwined. Indeed, the Prince and Princess of Wales have enough to worry about. They are raising their three young children, taking on more royal duties every day, championing Prince William’s Earthshot initiative, and more. The divide between the Suss*xes and the Prince and Princess of Wales has always been such a magnifying glass that staying focused on their respective endeavors seems like a smart move.
Of course, that hasn’t stopped representatives from Buckingham Palace and Netflix from publicly commenting on or refuting some of the allegations regarding the documentary series. Three more episodes to go Harry and MeganIt will be interesting to see how, or even if, the royals decide to comment on what Prince Harry and Meghan have to say. But until then, it’s business as usual for the Prince and Princess of Wales.
