Peter Andre has posted a heartfelt tribute to his late brother Andrew nine years after he passed away.
He was devastated by the 54-year-old’s untimely demise in 2012 and today marked his birthday with a special message on Instagram.
Peter Reposted an emotional graphic of his other brother Michael showing how long it has been in months, days and even seconds since his death.
Written in white on a black background, the post read: “108 months, 3,285 days, 78.840 hours, 4.730.400 minutes, 283,824,000 seconds, 9 years. Not a moment goes by, I don’t miss you. Brother,” followed by a gray heart emoji.
Michael tagged his siblings in the original post. Pete added his own caption to the post when he re-shared it, writing: “Miss you brother.”
Andrew died in December 2012 After a ten-month battle with kidney cancer.
Pete was devastated by his death and today told his fans how much he is missing him – nine years after he died.
Pete’s followers flooded his recent Instagram post with a variety of comments.
In the new video she said: “Okay so it’s a full dress rehearsal for Miss World and the show is on tonight.
“It’s nine years since we lost our brother as a family.
“I am obviously very sad today but I also know that if he was here, he would have loved to see this from Australia.
“So it’s a bitter day so here goes. Tonight Miss World 2021 lives for the world and I know what I’m doing this for.
“I wish they were here to see it, so love you brother.”
He ended the video with the words “Still think of you everyday. Aaram bhai bhai” flashing across the screen.
One user commented, “He’s watching you.”
While another fan said: “He would be so proud of you! Enjoy tonight he’s out there keeping an eye on you.”
Meanwhile, a third follower shared: “Your brother will always be with you for a lifetime and he will definitely be with you tonight.”
Peter struggled to cope with Andrew’s death and He begged his wife, Emily, to leave him as he was later battling depression.
Peter had previously said of his brother’s diagnosis: “I was horrified, very shocked, and I broke down.
“Tears were just rolling down my face and I cry every day since then.”
Andrew was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2012 and Pete took time out of his busy schedule to spend time with him.
Tragically, he passed away in December of the same year, Leaving a huge void in Pete’s life.
