“A representative on behalf of Noel Gallagher and Sarah McDonald has confirmed that the couple is divorcing,” the couple’s spokesperson said in a statement. Gallagher was the main songwriter and lead guitarist for the rock band Oasis, founded by his brother. Liam Gallagher, Jewel Archer and Andy Bell. The band was formed in 1991 when Noel joined the band after seeing their first performance. In 2009, the British songwriter left the band after he and 50-year-old Liam had a falling out.

During his interview with british vogueMorning Glory musician, who formed his own band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in 2010, has revealed he is considering reconciling with his brother and rejoining the group.
“I often thought, ‘Let’s just perform,’” he recalled. “But I realized that I would only do this to shut up that fucking idiot.”
