Netflix releases first trailer for ‘Emily in Paris’ season 3

According to the trailer, Emily doesn’t make any decisions at all – instead, she tries to please people with both bosses at the same time. This choice is even mocked in the trailer itself, when Emily discusses Jean-Paul Satra’s “ne pas choisir c’est encore choisir” line with her French teacher. The phrase means that “even having no choice is still a choice”, which leaves Emily dumbfounded as to whether she is making the right choice even for her own life.

Aside from her career (which will likely take a backseat to her personal life if the showrunners follow the precedent from previous seasons), Emily has another big choice: Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) or Gabrielle? Gabriel has been around since the beginning, so he’s probably a fan favorite. But there is definitely something special about Alfie. Regardless of who she chooses, you’ll have to wait until the season debuts on December 21st to find out.
