ShutterstockLove wins! Prince Harry as well as Meghan Markle fondly remember their 2018 royal wedding in the fourth episode of the Netflix documentary. Harry and Meganwhich fell on Thursday, December 15th.
“On our wedding day, I felt like I was in a really peaceful place. I don’t know how I was so calm,” recalled the 41-year-old Duchess of Suss*x. “I look back and ask: “How was I so calm?” And all I wanted was a mimosa and a croissant and play the song “I’m going to the chapel.” And that’s what I did – and it was great!”
Meghan married the Duke of Suss*x, now 38, in an elaborate royal wedding ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, England.
“There was a wait, right? [Princess] Diana’s boy. The wedding was expected to be public,” Harry interjected. – It was like “Mission completed with [Prince] William [who married Princess Kate in 2011]. Now let’s see if this distance goes with Harry, and then we can really say: “Job done.”
Megan – who arrived at the castle in a car with her mother, Doria Ragland Harry’s father walked down the aisle. King Charles III.
“Harry’s dad is very charming. And… I told him, like, “I lost my father because of this.” So he, as my father-in-law, was very important to me.” Suits noted alum, referring to her estrangement from Thomas Markle, who skipped the wedding after he was accused of staging paparazzi photos for profit. “I asked him to walk me down the aisle and he agreed. It was all surreal. It was at that moment that I could also see X.”

Wonderful.’ And again, more help from my father in this,” he said in Harry and Megan. “The world was watching us, but when we were actually at the altar, as far as I could tell, it was just the two of us.”
After Harry and Meghan recited their vows, they celebrated their union with an intimate party at Frogmore House. The blushing bride, for her part, broke with tradition by toasting.
“I gave a speech on the night of our wedding, which I think is atypical for a bride in the UK” Bench recalled the author in the sixth series Harry and Megan. “On my phone!”
Harry, who noted that it was “very” unusual for a British bride to give a toast during a wedding, looked lovingly at his wife as she read out her greeting.

To the question of why I wanted to speak tonight. First of all, it’s been a while. But most of all I wanted to share a story. A story I wrote about the person I love and how we met. Let’s call it a modern fairy tale.
Once upon a time there was a girl from Los Angeles – some called her an actress. And there was a guy from London, some called him a prince. All these people didn’t quite understand, because this is a love story of a boy and a girl who are destined to be together. They meet on July 3, 2016 in London. And they giggle endlessly. They have a second date and he brings her cupcakes because today is the 4th of July. “A bittersweet holiday,” he says. Ironic, really. The independence of her country from his country. But at this point, they know they don’t want to be independent of each other.
And after a month of courtship at a distance, they settle in the silence of Botswana. And amidst any momentary worries that creep in, they look at each other and think, “Whatever world we’re in.” They will love, garden, travel, laugh and fly more miles than any couple. And when the tides were rough, they squeezed each other closer. “Nothing can break us,” they said. “For the sake of this love, she was a fighter.”
I appreciate, respect and honor you, my treasure, for the family we will create and our love story that will last forever. Therefore, I ask you to raise a glass to the amazing certainty that now life begins, and the eternal knowledge that, above all, love conquers.
