HBO Max is dropping its first original scripted series. love of life, which produced two seasons. They will be removed as part of a wider financial review of the streamer’s slate which has resulted in a number of titles being purged at the end of the calendar year, including Gordita Chronicles, which was recently removed, and MinxThe second season renewal of which has also been reversed.
Season 1 of the romantic comedy anthology series starred in and was produced by Anna Kendrick. Season 2 shifts the focus from Kendrick’s Darby Carter to a new protagonist, William Jackson Harper’s Marcus Watkins, as they date in New York City. Season 2 holds a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, up from 79% for Season 1.
