Just this week, Lisa Marie and her mom attended the Golden Globe Awards.
They were there to see Austin Butler win his award for his portrayal of Elvis.
But Presley was rushed to the hospital soon after.
His housekeeper found him unconscious in his California home.

His cause of death has been confirmed.
Lisa Marie Presley died of a heart attack.
But heartbreakingly, Presley’s final years were spent mostly in grief.
Her son, Benjamin, died by suicide in July 2020 aged just 27.

“Hello. In honor of National Grief Awareness Day, I wrote an article about grief that was posted on People today,” she shared.
“I thought I’d post it here in the hopes that whoever needs to hear all this, it might help in some way.”

“This is not a comfortable subject for anyone, and it is most unpopular to talk about,” he wrote.
“But if we’re going to make any progress on this topic, we have to talk about grief.
“Death is a part of life whether we like it or not – and so is grieving,” he continued.
“Grief does not, in any sense, stop and go, one year, or many years after a loss. Grief is something you will carry with you for the rest of your life, despite what some people or our culture would have us believe. Wants. You don’t ‘get over it’, you don’t ‘move on’ period.
“That’s where finding others who have experienced a similar loss may be the only way to go. Support groups that share your specific type of loss. I go to them, and I find them in mine. Keep at home for other bereaved parents.
“Nothing, absolutely nothing, takes away the pain, but seeking help can sometimes help you feel less alone,” she concluded.
