Quality time together. After pressing pause in the plans for the child, Kourtney Kardashian praised the way she and her husband Travis Barker were able to interact with their children.
“Our family is expanding and growing and we have a lot to be thankful for,” the 43-year-old Poosh founder said during the show’s second season finale. Kardashianwhich aired on Thursday, November 24th. “I like the idea of a blended family. I think the more kids the better. You have all these brothers and sisters and even more people you love. It’s a wonderful thing.”
As the audience watched the band prepare for dinner, Courtney spoke of her admiration for the 47-year-old musician. “Travis is so passionate about life. He really is a wonderful father, ”she added in a confession. “I love it because we’ve all known each other for 10 years now – and all the kids have so many memories with each other – it’s just so nice to continue to have a good time together.”
The reality star shares 12-year-old Mason, 10-year-old Penelope and 7-year-old Rain with an ex-boyfriend. Scott Disick. Travis, for his part, shares son Landon, 19, and daughter Alabama, 16, with his ex-wife. Shanna Moakler. He is also the father of Atiana, 23, who Shanna, 47, shares with an ex. Oscar De La Hoya. Some of their children appeared on screen during the episode.
Courtney, who exchanged vows with the drummer in May, previously opened up about her love for foster children.
“I’m very close to the Travis kids and I love them,” the businesswoman told cameras on a May episode. “Travis is very patient. I think that since we all know each other, it’s easier for us to blend our families. It’s all I could ever wish for.”
Hulu’s personality later revealed that the couple’s attempts to have children of their own were put on the back burner. “We started the IVF journey, but I stopped. It was a lot. I took a break to just focus on our wedding and wedding,” Kourtney explained during an interview with WSJ. Magazine in September.
A month later, Kourtney admitted that she was “pushed” into IVF, saying on the Not Thin, Not Fat podcast, “I got to the point where I just felt how exactly everything was with me and Travis. I feel – really – that if this is meant to happen, it will happen. [We have] prayers and hope that God will bless us with the child.”

During the episode, Kourtney and Travis were joined by most of their children for a family dinner.

“I want to say that I love you, appreciate you and miss you guys every day,” Travis told his children before meals, before his wife called their dynamic together “a real love story.”
Later in the episode, the couple also talked about the ups and downs of their day. Kourtney started the dinner tradition by saying, “My peak [of the day] drinking matcha with you. my hole [of the day] Mason had friends and didn’t come to dinner.”
Travis, for his part, added, “My peak is drinking matcha and ironically my pit isn’t in the spa during a cleanse.”

Looking forward to the future
As the second season drew to a close, Kourtney reflected on how far she’d come in her life, saying, “The last few months have been just non-stop. Like everything else involved in planning our wedding and raising our six children. things with the love of my life just make it all so special.”
