Kate Ritchie splits from boyfriend John Bell

The private pair first made headlines in January — with a lot of attention being paid to the nearly 20-year age difference between Richie, 43, and security consultant Bell, 25.

He’s kept a very low profile since then – and daily mail Today reports that they have now gone their separate ways.

“Kate is single. The lockdown is to blame,” the outlet is quoted as saying by a source. In fact, the pair had reportedly not seen each other in person since January, Richie’s native NSW and they were separated due to the closure of the long border between Bell in Victoria.

Bell was also depicted with a number of visible tattoos, including “Australian Pride” and “Italian Pride”.

Bell operates VIREOSS, a security solutions business from the small town of Seymour, an hour and a half from Melbourne.

Judging by her social media presence, Bell is also a keen traveler and fan of horse racing, with her Likes pages including Racing Victoria, Flemington Racecourse and Country Racing Victoria.

Not much is known about Bell. According to Sydney Morning HeraldIn 2015, when he was charged with reckless driving, he was brushed with the law, though he was not convicted.

Richie’s quiet relationship with Bell came after her split from retired rugby player Stuart Webb. In November 2019, web Agreed to an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) which prevented him from attacking, threatening, stalking or harassing his wife.

The court was told that Richie had sent a letter of support to her husband emphasizing his duties in raising their seven-year-old daughter, Mai, which the magistrate said he had taken into account.

Webb was previously sentenced to two separate drink-driving charges after being caught in March 2012 and December 2017. Webb was fined on both occasions and lost his license for three months in the 2017 incident.

She and Richie were last seen together in February 2020, when they celebrated their daughter’s first day of school.
