Kanye’s return to Twitter was short-lived. A month after the controversial rapper’s account was reinstated when Elon Musk took over the social media platform, it was suspended again Thursday night, following a tweet from West that featured a swastika inside the Star of David. .
West’s Twitter account was initially suspended for 12 hours after the offending tweet, which has since been deleted.
“I did my best,” Musk tweeted. “However, he again violated our policy against incitement to violence. The account will be suspended.”
West’s account then disappeared with a “suspended” label on it.
Earlier today, West condemned Alex Jones for an appearance on the InfoWars show, during which he espoused anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and professed his admiration for Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
His original suspension from Twitter also stemmed from anti-Semitic comments he made on the platform.
