John Krasinski’s daughter reacted hilariously to her father playing Jim in the office

In an interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” John Krasinski was asked if his kids had watched The Office.

He replied that they had just started watching it after asking about the show without being prompted. However, his six-year-old daughter, the younger of the two, reacted amusingly to Krasinski playing Jim Halpert. She initially insisted that Krasinski looked very different, but after a while she dismissed the idea that Krasinski was actually playing Jim, saying “It’s not you” when Krasinski repeated that he was playing the role. In subsequent episodes, she admitted that Jim looked a lot like Krasinski, but claimed that it wasn’t Krasinski.

Krasinski added that although his children knew that their mother, Emily Blunt, was an actress, they didn’t know that Krasinski was also an actor. Instead, they thought he worked in a real office. He revealed that the confusion occurred when Krasinski was approached by a fan while he was walking with his kids and greeted him by asking, “John! From the office!” This prompted his daughters to ask if he was working with the man, but they accused him of lying when he denied it, as he said he knew Krasinski from the office.
