Jessie J has announced she’s pregnant a year after her horrific miscarriage.
The 34-year-old pop star announced the happy news on Instagram this evening in a cute video of her tummy.
She wrote, “I’m so happy and scared to finally share this…
“Please be gentle with me 🫂 Honestly, your girlfriend just wants to cry ugly in public in overalls while eating chocolate-covered cucumbers no questions asked 🤸🏻♂️.”
The clip was narrated by her own song Sunflower and showed her holding a Clear Blue pregnancy test confirming that she was going to be a mom.
Her ultrasound scan was then shown, followed by clips of her belly in various stages, including a full nude speculum and a funny studio belly reveal.
Fans and friends were in awe of her and showered her with good wishes.

Stacey Solomon wrote: “Oh Jessie I am so happy for you. I love you 🥲🥲🥲”.
Pixie Lott said, “God, Jessie, supermom of the century.”
Paloma Faith commented, “Best news ever.”
In November 2021, Jessie tragically revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage.
She shared a photo of herself holding a positive pregnancy test as well as an emotional quote.
In a lengthy caption, she boldly explained how nervous she was about keeping her pregnancy a secret during the Los Angeles concert.
Unfortunately, after only a few hours, the doctors told her they couldn’t find her baby’s heartbeat.
The singer wrote, “💔 I was laughing with a friend yesterday morning saying, ‘Seriously, how am I going to perform tomorrow night in LA without telling the entire audience that I’m pregnant.’
“Yesterday afternoon I was terrified at the thought that I would be able to go through a concert without breaking down… After the third scan, I was told that my heartbeat was no longer beating.
“This morning. I feel like I can’t control my emotions. I may regret posting this. Maybe not. I don’t really know. What I know is what I want to sing tonight. Not because that I avoid grief or process, but because I know today’s singing will help me.”
Jessie went on to explain the reason for her desire to continue the concert, sharing, “I did two concerts in two years and my soul needs it. Today even more. I know some people will think she should just cancel it. But at this moment, I have clarity on one thing: I started singing when I was young, for joy, to fill my soul and for self-love therapy, that has never changed and I have to experience it my way.
“I want to be honest and truthful and not hide how I feel. I deserve it. I want to be as myself as I can be in this moment. Not only for the public, but for myself and my little kid who made it. I know myself best, and I know that I will talk about it on stage, because that’s who I am. So instead of a tearful emotional speech trying to explain my energy. It’s safer that way.”
The star, who split from ex-boyfriend Max in October 2021 and previously dated Channing Tatum, added: “I decided to have a baby on my own. Because that’s all I ever wanted and life is short. a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and I know I will have again.

“I am still in shock, the sadness is overwhelming. But I know that I am strong and I know that I will be ok. I also know that millions of women around the world have experienced this pain and worse. those of you that I know and those of you that I don’t.
“It’s the loneliest feeling in the world. So see you tonight in LA. I can joke less, but my heart will be in the room.”
