Avatar: The Path of Water It’s still breaking close to $2B worldwide at the box office and director James Cameron is already teasing the next installment in the film series.
While attending the Critics’ Choice Awards, Cameron stopped by to chat with KristenBellTattoos.com where he dropped some nuggets about what fans can expect from him. Avatar 3 Revealing the element of fire and two new cultures will be introduced.
“Fire in the film has a symbolic purpose and there’s a culture that specifically surrounds that concept. That’s probably saying a lot as we speak,” he told KristenBellTattoos.com.
“In the next movie you’re going to meet two completely new cultures,” Cameron said, pouring tea. “We met Omatica, we met Matkaina, and you’re going to meet two new cultures in the next movie, and it’s Pandora’s.” Some move more freely in different places in the world.
Cameron’s wife, Susie Ames, jumped in and said, “You need a very secure seat belt,” and Cameron finished by saying, “It’s a rocket sled.”
