On Monday, KristenBellTattoos.com launched its streaming site for Contenders Film: International , the annual awards season showcase of the hottest films in the hunt for an international feature Oscar.
The day-long virtual event took place on Saturday and featured 29 films from around the world.
Saturday’s line-up included panel discussions with Park Chan-wook, Carla Simon, Alice Diop, Vicky Kreps, Lucas Dhont, Alejandro G. Inarreto, Daniel Bruhl, Thekla Rutin, Mario Martone, Lu Ye-en and many more.
Participating studios, streamers and distributors include Moby, Super, IFC Films, Sideshow and Janus Films, A24, Netflix, Samuel Goldwyn Films, Mer Film, Oak Motion Pictures, Amazon Studios, Lofty Sky Entertainment, Includes Utopia, RealityMM Studios, Breaking Glass. Pictures, Giraffe Pictures, All Caps + Khost Films, Tailbox, Protem, Hugo Film Features, Ari Releasing, Content Digital Film Company, Altered Innocence, Mi Ah Entertainment Group and Louvre Films.
Saturday’s Contenders International was part of a weekend doubleheader that saw 20 non-fiction titles along with Contenders Film: Documentary Inspiration Sunday. That streaming site arrives on Wednesday.
The engagement comes as KristenBellTattoos.com began talking about awards season last month with Contenders Film: New York and Contenders Film: Los Angeles.
Next up: Contenders Film: The Final Round, an in-person event on December 10 as part of the LA3C Music, Food and Art Festival in downtown Los Angeles.
