OSSeth Cohen may have introduced the world to Chrysmukka, but the tradition lives on! In fact, several famous couples celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah during the holiday season.
Mila Kunisfor example, was raised Jewish, and Ashton Kutcher was raised a Christian. In October 2017, the actress told how she began to celebrate Christmas, despite her faith.
“I come from communist Russia, where you can’t be happy, so my holiday tradition is to be silent,” Kunis said. Last year, when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was 2 years old, and it was already too much. We didn’t give her anything – it was grandma and grandpa. The kid no longer appreciates one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just waiting for something.”
Forget Sarah Marshall The actress and Kutcher tried to reach out to their grandparents. “We told our parents, ‘We beg you – if you need to give her something, choose one gift. Otherwise, we would like to accept a charitable donation, to the Children’s Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want,” she said.
Meanwhile, Dan Levy grew up, called on both holidays with his parents, Eugene Levy as well as Deborah Devine. “Half of me is celebrating Hanukkah, the other half is decorating the Christmas tree” happiest season actor tweeted in December 2012. “My body is confused. #halfi #chrysmukka.

The Bachelor Nation couple set new traditions after they tied the knot in April 2021. Gates has always celebrated Christmas, and Gottschalk celebrates Hanukkah.
During an Instagram Q&A session in December 2022, the former Bachelor contestant opened up about the judgments she and her husband face as a couple of different religions.
“As many of you know, we are interfaith. I stopped sharing some of the things we do to celebrate both because I had too many anti-Semitic and anti-Christian comments and real experiences,” she said in response to what holidays the couple celebrates. “Our common core values unite us, and sometimes the world wants them to divide us.”

It’s a 70’s show colleagues created new traditions together after they got married in July 2015. Kutcher has always celebrated Christmas, and Kunis began to appreciate the benefits of the holiday after she moved to the US from Soviet Ukraine.
