Still on his mind. Lamar Odom not yet finished trying to befriend his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian — but he’s not ready to tell her in person.
“I’d just like to take Chloe out to dinner,” says Odom, 43, in Us weeklyexclusive review TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs and the Kardashians special, which will premiere on Monday, January 2.
Master Harvey Levin asks: “For what purpose?” to which the former basketball player replies, “To be her friend. That’s all.”
Odom explains that the reason he didn’t approach his ex-wife for a meal together is because he’s “too shy”. He further reveals, “I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told no and denied. I’m afraid.”

However, the fairy tale romance began to unravel in 2013 after four years of marriage, and they split in December.

Celebrity Big Brother, adding that he hopes to contact Chloe again. “I wish I was mature enough to deal with [marriage] right, but I wasn’t. If the opportunity arises again, now I know what to do. What to do and what not to do. Sometimes I find it hard to sleep at night thinking about her.”
Seven months later, the basketball guru said he was watching Kardashian — but it’s not always easy to see the ups and downs of his ex-wife. “It was hard for me to watch it,” Odom said. E! Meanwhile, Odom plans to reveal everything about his relationship with the Kardashians and her family in the upcoming TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs and the Kardashians documentary.
According to the official synopsis, the “revealing” special will have viewers “take a deep dive into Lamar Odom’s troubled marriage to Khloe Kardashian, which was as memorable as his incredible basketball career.”
The retired athlete will talk “like never before about his sex addiction and drug use and how it destroyed his marriage to the love of his life and turned him into a shell of his former self,” according to the description.
TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs and the Kardashians Premieres on Fox on Monday, January 2nd at 9pm ET.
