Proud of my sister! Tamera Mowry opened up about how Tia Mowry adapts after its break with Corey Hardrict.
“She handles everything with grace. That’s what inspires,” said 44-year-old Tamera. Us weekly on Tuesday, December 13 during Prime Video’s promotions Dr. Seuss Baking. “You have ups [and] you have your flaws, but she lets her experience change her. I feel [like she has changed] for the better.”
The Hallmark star praised her 44-year-old twin for how she handled the breakup, adding: “Things don’t always go according to plan or we’ll have some twists and turns. You [have to] learn from it, grow from it, and do it with love. I feel like that’s what she does.”
Earlier this year, Tia announced the end of her marriage to Hardrikt, 43, after more than a decade. “I have always been honest with my fans and today is no different. I wanted to share that Corey and I decided to go our separate ways,” captioned the October Instagram photo of the actress, who shares children Cree, 11, and Cairo, 4, with the Chicago native. “These decisions are never easy and not without sadness.”
She continued, “We will continue our friendship as we raise our beautiful children together. I am grateful for all the happy moments we shared together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we begin this new chapter of our lives.”
A month later, Tia described how she and All American: Homecoming the actors adjusted to raising their children together. “I’m talking to [Cory] every single day. We talk to each other [that] we love each other every single day,” she shared exclusively with Us In November. “He is a family and he will always be a family and part of our lives forever.”
Meanwhile, Tamera publicly supported her sister’s decision. “I told her, I said, ‘Tia, I’m looking at your Instagram, it’s the happiest you’ve been in a long time. You shine.” Former child star, who is married to Adam Houseleysaid Entertainment tonight in the same month. “[I said]”You look different, but very positive!” I know it’s because she lives in her authentic, true self. And I think that’s what everyone should do. And it’s not easy! That’s the thing, it’s scary.”
After showing her support for Tia, the Emmy winner turns her attention back to her professional life. Tamera appeared as a host on Prime Video’s Dr. The Seuss Baking Challenge, which follows nine teams of pastry chefs and self-taught artisans trying to create masterpieces for a $50,000 prize.
After each episode, viewers will have the opportunity to bake their own version of the recipes from Amazon’s Dr. Seuss Baking Challenge. The ingredients will also be available for purchase on Amazon Fresh.
“I have been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Oh my goodness. So right now I’m focusing on passion projects. Everything I do has to be something that I am truly, absolutely in love with. And it was definitely an easy task,” she said. Us about the upcoming competition series. “I love baking. I love Dr. Seuss and I love food. So it was so much fun.”
According to Tamera, the best part of filming the series was getting inspired by the creativity of each member. “I felt like all my senses were just overwhelmed with pleasure,” she continued. “It was amazing. And then try all the yummy. But besides that, I studied psychology. I like people. I was a talk show host for seven years. I love meeting new people, especially bakers. I feel like bakers always have these amazing backstories of why they started and it’s so much fun.”
