Chris Orbach, son of the late great Jerry Orbach, who played Detective Lenny Briscoe, has also made multiple appearances in the franchise. He has appeared in three different episodes of Law & Order. Although he appeared as a different character in every episode, he also joined the cast of SVU in its first season as Detective Ken Briscoe, Lenny’s nephew.
Mariska Hargitay also dated her husband, Peter Hermann, on the set of “SVU” in 2001. Hermann is an actor who has appeared in TV shows such as Blue Bloods and Junior. He has also starred in several films including Goodnight Mommy and 13: The Musical. He guest-starred in one episode of Law & Order and later played Trevor Langan in 35 episodes of SVU. He may have been hired for the show before he married Hargitay, but meeting her husband through her work as Olivia Benson is something to celebrate. His last appearance on SVU was in the 2022 season 23 episode “The Video Killed the Radio Star”.
