‘House of the Dragon’ fans make it clear how much they despise Kriston Cole

According to poll on redditfans thought who worst character in the first season of House of the Dragon. The results showed that Ser Christon Cole (Fabien Frankel) is considered by most to be the most hated character. Even getting more votes than the dodgy Laris Strong (Matthew Needham), the man whose family was murdered without batting an eyelid.

Even so, Ser Christon was preferred over the others. While it’s important to mention a good contender for the title of most hated player in the game, Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans), he was not included in this poll. (We don’t know what he would have done compared to Kriston.)

However, it is clear that the hatred for the Dornish Knight stems from his 180º turn in House of the Dragon episode 5 “We Light the Way”. His heel turn is shown in full in Episode 6 “The Princess and the Queen”. He first speaks ill of Rhaenyra Alycent and then becomes draconian while teaching the children of the princess, showing his prejudice against the woman he once loved.

Even if Kriston is the most despised character on the show, fans have to give Frankel credit. He is one of the few actors who doesn’t change after the timeskip. Frankel adds an incredible nuance to his character, unmistakably showing how noble and innocent he was before his heart broke, making him bitter and hateful.
