Gemma Collins has revealed why she rekindled her relationship with Rami Hawash seven years after their failed engagement.
Gemma, 41, and Rami first dated in 2011, enjoying an affair for three years before splitting up in 2014.

They got engaged in 2013 after he proposed by hiding a diamond ring in Christmas pudding before they broke up shortly after.
They briefly reunited in 2017, but soon after, Gemma returned to co-star James Argent before ending their rocky relationship for good.
In April 2021, it was revealed that Gemma and Rami had been secretly dating for six months, and they’ve been going strong ever since despite postponing their marriage plans.
talking to Ida Williams on the Postcards From The Edge podcastGemma talked about finding love again with the father of one of them.
She said, “I feel like maybe I was being tested because one day I kind of learned to love myself again, because that’s the saying: once you love yourself, then someone else can love you. I won’t feel guilty about being sad. ‘
“I fell in love with myself again. I recognized myself again. All these people who have come and gone in my life have been for the wrong reasons.
“And then my dad got sick, Rami held out his hand, didn’t think about anything romantic for a minute. I didn’t even think about having a partner. I really think for the first time in my life I wasn’t obsessed with meeting someone else. I became more concerned about myself and my happiness, I became very selfish.
“Then, out of nowhere, Rami showed up. We used to go on small walks and he was very nice to pick up my mom for shopping if I couldn’t get there. I haven’t thought about it yet, but I started to think, damn it, why didn’t I accept his offer ten years ago when I wanted such a life.
Concluding the reminiscence of their love story, she added, “Then, out of nowhere, everything came back.
“When you say that I have matured, you know, I have become better at work and all that.
“I think I just had to go through this whole process to get to this point. And now it’s good, you know.”
Back in July 2021, the couple confirmed they were back together, with GC suggesting that she “may get pregnant” after a “summer of love”.
Speaking in the series finale about her love lounge On the podcast, Gemma told listeners, “Now I have a wonderful partner and I am very happy, I never expected this and never predicted this.
“What I’m saying is, you really have to let go of your past and move into the future, because everyone’s Prince Charming is out there somewhere, and I’m looking forward to the summer of love.”
