DC’s upcoming movie Blue Beetle just released its first poster and release date

Early this morning, Warner Bros. surprised attendees at the Brazilian CCXP22 with a surprise Blue Beetle panel (via Twitter). After the appearance of the main star Xolo Maridueña, Steven Wintraub of Collider revealed that the studio had posters that could be handed out to fans in attendance. Official DC Comics Twitter the account later dropped the poster to the public.

One sheet features the crisp mechanical Blue Beetle logo in a stylish and sleek neon color. The attached caption confirms that the film will release on August 18th. There are rumors, especially after the release of HBO Max and Warner Bros. The Batgirl fiasco that Blue Beetle would be delayed. The poster also confirms that the film directed by Angel Manuel Soto will hit theaters. reaffirming Warner Bros. position to focus on theater projects.
