DAVID WALLIAMS may have been enamored with Britain’s Got Talent – in fact, his co-stars often joked that he had a hard time keeping him away from the camera.
But in a rare show of shyness – or if it was irritability – his desire to be pictured seemed to die down when an agitated suitor repeatedly tried to grab his picture.
After being spotted at the Emirates First Class VIP Bar at Heathrow Airport, Jamie McDonald attempted to steal an ITV regular’s shot to show off to his fellows.
But he was met with a stone answer.
He got a video for TikTok that went viral and David can be seen in the plush living room looking up to a potential snapper.
During the seven-hour flight, the couple found themselves sitting awkwardly next to each other. The only consolation was that they were in their plush personal capsules, which cost thousands of pounds per flight.
A source said: “David was hoping to keep a low profile during his trip, but when you’re one of the biggest stars on TV, that’s no small feat.
“He was seen in the living room, but did not make a scene, although he made it clear that he was not pleased.
“On the flight, the guy tried to steal another photo and David got fed up with it.
He told the employee and Emirates decided to intervene.”
In a recent TikTok post, a dejected Jamie wrote: “David Walliams reported me.
“I don’t know if I can fly Emirates again. What beans.
It is not known what action was taken by the airline.
David confirmed last night that he has returned to work with his former Little Britain co-star Matt Lucas.
Cheerful man Matt, who stepped down as host of The Great British Bake Off this week, shared a photo of them beaming at a laptop.
Matt teased the caption to the frame: “I’m writing.”
