The man began his post by revealing that he had been a single father for nearly a decade. His adorable daughter is 13 years old, and she is the apple of his eye.

Recently, she said a guy in her class asked her on a pizza date over the weekend, and since they don’t really do anything for Thanksgiving, the post’s author didn’t mind. . Now, the man tells her that he wants to meet the boy – however, his daughter is visibly upset and asks why.

The post’s creator assured his offspring that it wasn’t going to be a “Dad interrogates boyfriend and does all the horrible things” kind of thing and that he just wanted to meet him and say hi. Betty finally agrees and they move on.

The day of history approached and the man saw his daughter going towards the door, so he stopped her and asked where the young man was. He said he was waiting outside, adding that he would ride his bike to the pizza place. Of course, the post writer wondered why her date wasn’t coming in, to which the kid started making excuses.
