The New Britney Spears Jukebox Musical Once Upon a One More Time has finalized its Broadway plans: the production will begin previews at the Marquis Theater on Saturday, May 13, 2023, with an opening night on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Featuring Spears’ hits such as “Oops I Did It Again,” “Lucky,” “Circus,” and “Toxic,” the new musical is directed and choreographed by Kevin and Marie Madrid, with a performance by John Hartmeyer. The real story is what imagines what will happen. Production dates and locations were announced today by producers James L. Nederlander and Hunter Arnold. Casting has not been announced.

The creative team for the Broadway production includes David Levaux as creative consultant, set designer Anna Fleischel, costume and hair designer Lorraine Elstein, lighting designer Kenneth Posner, sound designer Andrew Kester and projection designer Sven Ortel.
