Pulling out all the stops! Keith Chastain spoke candidly about her path to motherhood and the problems associated with expecting her first child.
In December 2022 below deck Alam has confirmed that she is pregnant. “I feel so great. I’m so excited,” she said exclusively Us weekly promoting her participation in a new reality show. “I knew when the Traitors came out that I would be doing a lot of interviews and I probably couldn’t hide it for long, so surprise!”
Although Chastain has opened up about her pregnancy, she has admitted that she doesn’t reveal all the details. “I’ll save it for a bit,” she told Andy Cohen during an interview on See what’s happening live in the same month, referring to the gender of her baby.
The former chef later said he felt “great” amid major life changes. “Honestly, I like to sleep and I’m also lazy and selfish, so I feel like this will be an adjustment,” she joked during an interview with E! News in December 2022. “But I just think that if I love this child as much as I love my dog, everything will be fine, and people assure me that it will.”
That same month, Chastain’s former colleague Captain Lee Rosbach weighed the news of her pregnancy.
“I am very happy for her. I have no doubt that she will be a great mom,” he shared with People. “She has taken on a big challenge, but she is more than ready. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so happy.
The captain said he was willing to help with just about anything, adding: “I don’t do diapers. I will do a lot of things, but diapers are not one of them.”
Chastain’s announcement came more than two years after her departure from below deck. (The reality TV star previously starred in the hit series Bravo from seasons 2 to 7.)
“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, this year I have decided to make the transition and start creating a new progressive ground role,” she wrote on Instagram in February 2020, jokingly referring to Prince Harry and Meghan MarkleResignation letter from the royal family. “I intend to step down as a senior member of the Lower Deck family and work towards becoming financially independent while continuing to fully support His Majesty Andy Cohen.”

According to Chastain, she has already received support from other Bravo stars, including Brandi Glanville.
“[Brandi] already gave me parenting advice, and it’s great advice, full of enthusiasm,” the Florida native said of Glanville, who has two sons with her ex-husband. Eddie Cibrian. “I’m very grateful to have Brandi as my parenting coach.”

Chastain took to social media to reveal her personal preparation for motherhood. “I’m on my way to celebrate @jessicamore180 and baby Charlie 💕 trying to get used to the idea of having my own baby in the back seat 😳,” she captioned the Instagram video.
