Angry DC fans try to fire James Gunn with tweets

“Gann is a friend of Zach, he will give him credit,” he wrote. @sameerj2003. We couldn’t find any promises from the Guardians of the Galaxy director that implied he would keep the franchise nearly a decade in the water for now. “It’s BS!” exclaimed @TheNuGeekz. “THEY BETTER NOT RELOAD! Always, called @SnyderQueen_by posting the hashtag directly to your Warner Bros. account. on Twitter.

Multiple tweets shared the same photo of Gunn with disgraced Avengers and Justice League director Joss Whedon in what seemed like a bizarre attempt to prove some sort of moral connection between the two. @JustAnotherLiv2for example, he signed the picture with a rather dramatic quote from J. R. R. Tolkien: “Evil cannot create anything new, it can only spoil and destroy what good forces have invented or created.”
