Mom knows best! Jessie J. expecting her rainbow baby almost a year after her miscarriage – and she’s excited to share her pregnancy progress.
“So weird to be on this side after being told I’ll never get pregnant because of pregnancy loss and then because I’m pregnant and how fast it all happens,” the Domino singer wrote. in an Instagram Story on January 6, 2023, hours after confirming her baby news. “My mind didn’t fully grasp that this was really happening for days, which is why I kept silent for so long.”
The English native – full name Jessica Ellen Cornish – has kept her first trimester under wraps since she suffered a miscarriage in November 2021. “In the beginning, the anxiety was overwhelming and I felt like I had my eyes closed, just hoping that this would all continue. everything will be fine,” she wrote in her social media post in January 2023. “I don’t take it for granted and continue to pray every day for my baby’s safe landing.”
She added, “I know I have been blessed with the biggest gift I have ever received and I pray the most that you will receive, no matter how it looks.”
The ‘Bang Bang’ singer, who has not publicly revealed the identity of her baby’s father or due date, has been candid about her emotions during her pregnancy and morning sickness.
“I was warned about this first trimester and it was WOOFY WOOF,” Jessie wrote via Instagram January 8, 2023, sharing footage of her yawning, crying and vomiting.
Before finding out she was pregnant with baby #1, the “Price Tag” singer was open about her desire to become a mother amid fertility issues.
“Five years ago I was diagnosed [adenomyosis]which complicates the task. They told me I can’t have children, but I don’t believe it,” Jessie said during a June 2019 appearance on the Heart Breakfast radio show. “I believe in miracles. I didn’t give up. … Over the past four years I have changed my diet. I have changed my lifestyle, I have worked hard on myself. I am still in the process.”
According to Mayo ClinicAdenomyosis occurs when endometrial tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus.
Jessie didn’t let her medical issues get in the way of her family planning, and now she’s thrilled to be a parent.
“Pregnancy is the most exciting yet UNIQUE journey. We all feel it, experience it and deal with it in OUR way,” she wrote in a second Instagram Story post in January 2023. scary or joyful, gratitude is always present as a given.”
