AJ Cook Admires ‘Streamed Version’ of Prentiss in Criminal Minds: Evolution

In an acting interview with television lineAJ Cook, who plays Jennifer “JJ” Jaro in Criminal Minds: Evolution, shared her love for the “streaming version” of Emily Prentiss in the revival. “Paget is such a champion. I call it Prentiss 2.0,” Cook said. “I really like this streaming version of Prentiss. She has a bit of sass in her and now she has such beautiful silver gray hair… just the confidence that comes from her is really impressive,” she added.

Cook also noted how different this version of Prentiss was from her character in the original series. She added that Brewster’s character “crushes him”.

Brewster also spoke about the decision to leave her hair gray for the show, saying that when she initially started going gray during “Criminal Minds”, she wore a wig.
