Always growing. FROM Walking Dead Premiering on AMC in 2010, audiences have been eagerly awaiting various versions of the zombie apocalypse.
Horror series based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, introduced fans to a group of survivors. Their attempts to stay alive during the constant threat of zombie att*cks captured people’s attention for nearly a decade.
November 2022 Walking Dead came to an end – but not before its finale determined the future of the franchise. The last episode ended on a hopeful note as the Commonwealth entered a period of peace. Fans were surprised when Rick could be seen in the finale (Andrew Lincoln) and Michon (Danai Gurira).
Executive producer Angela Kahn praised the source material for allowing Walking Dead end on a high note.
“Robert Kirkman’s vision for the comic is that he closes a chapter and then another door opens. Because in a way it’s a zombie story that never ends,” she said. Diversity at that time. “That feeling is still going on in the background and not everything has been fixed. But this is not some nihilistic view of the world, where all these people try to survive for years, and then fail. Gimple continued, “We didn’t vampire. People will know everything about everything they see there. Everything will be revealed. The history of the armor that Michonne wears is very important. What Rick does is crucial to his story and what he hears from the helicopter. We have to look into the real world in which people will have to live in a few months.”
Kang noted that Lincoln didn’t want his looks to overshadow his legacy. Walking Dead, saying, “Andy was very clear, he didn’t want to be the last one that ended the show. He felt it was wrong because he left. It has been worked on for a long time by many people from different angles, with good intentions and conscientiousness.”

‘Walking Dead’
The original series, which premiered in 2010, focused on a group of survivors trying to survive a zombie apocalypse. Walking Dead there was a large cast that included Lincoln, Norman Reedus, John Bernthal, Stephen Youn, Chandler Riggs, Lauren CohenGurira, Melissa McBride, Emily Kinney as well as Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
After 11 seasons on AMC, the horror series ended in November 2022.

“The Walking Dead: Dead City”
After the initial announcement as Dead islandspin-off based on Negan (Morgan) and Maggie (Cohen) was renamed to The Walking Dead: Dead City.
“The crumbling city is filled with the dead and residents who have turned New York into their own world, full of anarchy, danger, beauty and horror,” the show’s synopsis reads.
The Walking Dead: Dead City The first season will have six episodes and is slated to premiere in April 2023.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon
In 2020, AMC announced plans for a spin-off that will focus on Daryl (Reddus) and Carol from Walking Dead. Later that year, the network confirmed that McBride would not be part of the series.
“Melissa McBride gave birth to one of the most interesting, real, human and popular characters in the Walking Dead universe,” an AMC spokesperson said in a statement regarding the shocking departure. “Currently, moving to Europe has become logistically disadvantageous for Melissa.”
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon the premiere is scheduled for 2023.

Untitled Rick and Michonne series
After previously teasing plans for a series about Rick’s Adventures, AMC turned the project into a six-episode series.
According to the logline, the untitled show will focus on “an epic love story between two characters who have been changed by a changed world.”
