In addition to his comics, Ellis has many other things he works on when he is not working on his cartoons.

“Cartoons are my main focus, but I also do some illustration and writing. I’m trying to write more. I love it.”

With that being said, we were curious to know a little more about the artist’s schedule and how often he releases new comics.

“I draw cartoons every week. I try to set an alarm in my head, which is constantly asking ‘Is this a cartoon?’ When I think about my life. It reminds me to look for common occurrences that make great fodder for cartoons. I write them down in my note app, and I’ll go through them later, And start sketching out ideas. If I’m lucky, a joke will happen.”
